Looking for Git repository hosted or self hosted recommendations. I have a shared host and am on a fixed income so server-side restriction to PHP, MySQL only. Flat local json storage options preferred for easy portability.
I am working on an anon channel board that is finally production ready and ready to share (code base) to benefit the community at large.
Serious aversion here to anything Microsoft. The popular options are not ideal to me. I want to use a pseudo handle for attributions and not have to give my real identity to the Git provider. Free options, of course; may land me to consider only self hosted options; Git command-line ability is less important– I cannot imagine git working with PHP only site.
If no feasible options already exist, I will resort to developing my own (maybe the best case scenario.)
I personally only had chosen a clearnet git server with a tor compliant server for tech privacy repo. Check out my-repo-codeberg .
gdatura is an amazing link for .onion git alternative. Your link to http://gdatura24gtdy23lxd7ht3xzx6mi7mdlkabpvuefhrjn4t5jduviw5ad.onion/ is just amazing. Thanks!
I personally use gdatura to test if my curl fork has been freed to work to .onion. Check out : https://codeberg.org/lanceuralerteDupentest/curl
I’ve decided to self host, and am taking a different approach that is contrary to the anonymous approach; I am looking to coin and establish The Brown Hats. I considered the onion options and decided against that positioning, not just because of the differing approach. Because of accessibility, I rather not limit.
