The Intersection of Cypherpunk & Homesteading

@androsio check this video out

featured in that video is GhostNet

GhostNet is the overarching term for a collection of communications networks set up to allow users around the world to exchange information without relying on pre-established infrastructure. Far from being just an emergency plan, GhostNet is intended to ease the transition of radio technology into everyday life. Though radio networks cannot truly replace the internet, we hope that we can replace a substantial portion of a person’s daily information requirements, and promote a culture of off-grid information sharing.

I have built out mesh networks based on CJDNS and more recently Reticulum. People from different backgrounds and ideologies want mesh networks for different reasons. The most interesting place I set up a mesh network (BATMAN) was a corporate campus where the corporation had its own police force.

The “rebelion, it’s not what you think.” meme posted above is 100% spot on. Freedom is not something “granted” to anyone, freedom is a direct result of personal responsibility.

The phrase “do not comply” had a lot of buzz a few years ago. One I like a lot more is: “do not rely”.

I don’t know anything about CJDNS but this is not the first time I heard it mentioned. How does BATMAN perform overall on campus? Did you place nodes throughout?
